Jordan began his career in dance with The Indiana University Ballroom Dance Team. As he got more involved with the team, he gradually took on the position of teaching new members. Watching new members fall in love with dance felt so rewarding that it sparked his passion for dance instruction. In this position he led his team to multiple competitions and grew a positive philosophy surrounding the ideology of healthy competition and the importance of working as a team to achieve a common goal. In American Rhythm Gold, he was a finalist placing 5th overall! During his time with The Indiana University Ballroom he was also pursuing a psychology degree. This degree taught him about personalities and how to understand people on an individual basis. Much of his early student career was spent learning about how the brain should work, how the brain is imperfect, and what that knowledge can do for society. This knowledge became an integral part of how he works to understand and connect with his students. He now uses his skillset and history with dance as an instructor at World of Dance Studio. He is beyond excited to continue working with future or fellow dance nerds at World of Dance Bloomington.
